The Digital team at Epic Records is tasked with providing our artists’ fans with the best-in-class web products, driving maximum value for fans, artists, and Epic Records. The Content Manager will manage content and online communities for Epic Records’ network of artist sites to ensure they are engaging, up-to-date, and authoritative destinations for our artists’ fans.
Responsibilities:
Work with Epic Digital Marketing team to research, gather, plan and post compelling content that supports the voice, tone and style of our artists.
Publishing original stories, aggregating news from outside sources and working on special multimedia projects.
Work with Sony Music’s Content Publishing System (CPS) to create, manage and publish content and assets including text, video, audio, and photos.
Heavy writing, editing and blogging on a daily basis.
Manage deadlines.
Assist in the creation of content strategies, editorial calendars and publishing schedules.
Identify and research high impact content types to drive maximum reach and engagement for artist sites.
Collaborate with digital marketing managers to coordinate all web site content.
Develop and execute plans to highlight and stimulate user-generated content.
Monitor and moderate artist sites and coordinate with community “leaders” and “superfans” to increase engagement.
Manage ongoing quality assurance of artist web sites.
