Overview:

Responsibilities:

-Conceive, budget, and execute digital marketing plans which promote and increase sale of Masterworks new releases and catalog repertoire across all appropriate digital media platforms.

-Build and maintain relationships with niche and mainstream online partners. (major online portals, music sites, destinations, lifestyle, social networks, etc.)

-Pitch artist features to appropriate websites and technology companies: Seek out new opportunities, web sites, and technologies to secure exposure for artists online.

-Pitch and request proposals from independent online marketing companies where appropriate.

-Direct and manage independent online marketing company efforts when hired.

-Work with Project Managers and Artist Managers to develop newsletter and web site content.

-Build and send out artist and label newsletters per the schedule.

-Work with artist on social media interaction.

-Lead in brainstorming and implementing exciting new online content for artist websites and third party partners. (video content, contests, artist blogs, photo galleries)

-Attend and contribute to all related company meetings in connection with assigned projects, and provide department head with feedback and follow-up on action items.

-Provide web properties division with relevant information for web site and social networking profile updates.

-Prepare bi-weekly marketing summaries on assigned projects for overall department report.
