The Director, Human Resources must be someone who is willing to perform tactical duties while possessing the capability to deliver people strategies to drive business growth by developing, retaining, and attracting top talent, building organizational alignment, and enabling a strong, shared culture.

 

Responsibilities:

-HR Generalist delivers HR services to their respective client groups and supports employees at all levels of the organization

-Responsible for implementing human resources policies, programs and practices, which may include staffing, compensation, training, and performance management

-HR Director will drive performance management

-Responsible for communicating and informing employees of HR initiatives, project managing efforts, and ensuring programs are aligned with culture of business unit

-Partners with the Business leaders to build a high performance, people-focused culture that drives business results

-Ensures that Sony Music’s HR strategy is championed and executed effectively by executives and line leaders

 

Key Accountabilities:

-The role will partner with the Business Units to influence spending decisions for people development activities

-Partner with other HR Leadership in the oversight of talent management for critical business issues such as people development, retention, employee relations, compensation, and recruitment

-Accountable for talent assessment, selection, deployment, capability development/ retention, and cultural adoption of Sony Music’s commitment to creativity
