Position: Director, Integrated Marketing & Partnerships

Location: New York, NY

 

DESCRIPTION:

Develop groundbreaking 360 marketing concepts and partnerships for Nickelodeon Kids & Family group.  This position reports to the Vice President, Integrated Marketing & Partnerships.

Lead strategic development of priority accounts, including pro-active planning with ad sales, clients and their agencies.

Lead team of Marketing Managers to create dynamic, multi-platform marketing programs and presentations for our partners that drive ad sales revenue and elevate the Nickelodeon brand and intellectual properties.

Represent Nickelodeon in strategic planning meetings and presentations with clients and agencies.

Assume a leadership role in building strong relationships with Nickelodeon advertising partners.

Execute promotional strategies and priorities developed by VP and SVP, Integrated Marketing.

Liaise with all internal LOBs to develop integrated marketing concepts (e.g. standards, legal, programming, creative resources, consumer products, digital, etc.).

Supervise the development and implementation of promotional agreements, scripts, storyboards, on air spots, digital creative and on-pack/POP creative.

Lead the development of Ad Sales materials – presentations, one-sheets, case studies, sales tapes, and promotional sponsorship opportunities, specifically for our digital brands, TeenNick and Nick Jr.

Demonstrate category expertise and knowledge of the competitive landscape for client list.

Manage budgets for promotional programs.

Manage and mentor a team of Marketing Managers and Coordinators, ensuring career development and growth.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

MUST have experience in integrated marketing/ad sales marketing within a TV Network (cable or broadcast).

8+ years marketing/sales experience in marketing/ad agency or within entertainment & media.

Proven track record in account management with particular experience with Consumer Packaged Goods accounts.

Excellent internal and external presentation skills.

Knowledge of all media platforms – on-air, digital, mobile, off-channel, licensing as it relates to integrated marketing and the development of convergent programs.

Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively relay information about promotional programs to internal departments and external partners.

Demonstrated strong interpersonal and negotiating skills.

Must be a strong, creative writer with strong problem-solving skills.

Expert time-management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.

Proven strong project management skills including organization and attention to details in an extremely fast-paced, dead-line oriented environment.

Solution-oriented approach and creative thinking are required.

Thorough knowledge of the TV/Digital advertising and marketing landscape.

Some travel required.

Strong knowledge of EXCEL, WORD, PowerPoint and the Internet.

Bachelor’s degree.

Experience in managing and mentoring a staff.

Applicable progressive experience in TV integrated marketing may be considered in lieu of education.

Strong business ethics.
