Responsibilities:

The Senior Interactive Designer will be an experienced designer with a minimum of three years interactive design experience, an online portfolio of past works, and experience working across disciplines to manage projects and mentor junior design staff.

The Senior Interactive Designer will work closely with the senior staff to develop interactive brand extensions for Sony Music.  This includes leading design efforts for developing the look, feel, and overall user experience of the project.  Senior Interactive Designers will develop site maps, produce wireframes, and participate in the development of the sum total creative collateral appropriate for the brand.

Additional duties include interactive design production, working closely with the senior staff for creative comping, and creating interactive ideation.  Lead design projects for websites, mobile applications, and the full suite of interactive collaterals.

 

Qualifications:

Brilliant, passionate designer

Deep and abiding interest in beautiful and boundary breaking typography in the interactive space

Self motivated go getter capable of managing crushing timelines, multiple projects and client expectations

Free thinking, open minded, collaborative team player with vast interest in interactive entertainment and new modes of experiences

Fluency in all graphic design programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.

Substantial knowledge and experience of interactive deign production process and methodologies

Demonstrated ability to ideate and design various phases of product development including information architecture, and usability considerations

Knowledge and experience of opportunities and constraints with Flash

Ability to write AS2/AS3  a+

Knowledge and experience with video / 3D and sound production

Knowledge and experience of design constraints and implementations of  XHTML, CSS/RSS, and JavaScript

Experience working with enterprise level CMS

Experience working on national and or global brands and campaigns

Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with various departments is essential
