Similar to hip- hop icons Queen Latifah, Pharrell Williams and E-40, notable artist Kanye West has begun his foray into the fast food world. As detailed by the Daily Beast, West purchased the franchise rights to 10 Fatburger restaurants in his hometown of Chicago, Ill. via his holdings company KW Foods LLC.

States West’s manager Gee Roberson regarding the freshly- inked deal, “Music is the foundation for everything Kanye does, but he doesn’t want to be defined only as a musician,’ …’He’s really a designer. He designs his sounds, his raps, all aspects of his tour. He wants to do deals where he can have his fingerprints on the product.”

West is quite the Renaissance man evidenced by an additional business deal with Parlux, for a line of signature scents, via a deal made by Jay-Z’s Iconic Fragrances. West’s “My Beautiful Dark Fantasy” is also currently on Amazon.com for $3.99.

It’s JAY-Z.Sheesh, you should just cagnhe your name to OCWhiteBoy. You don’t get out much, do you? Here’s the deal: Black people are not all murderers, gang members, and hoodlums. So get that out of your head. I don’t know the demographics of the crowd that night, but there will be black people there. Deal with it. If you’re going to go, then go and don’t worry. Yeah, there will be black people there. Just don’t do anything stupid, and you’ll be fine. Enjoy the music and have a nice time.
