MONDAY MOTIVATION: Don’t Lose Focus Of Your Top Tasks!

By  |  0 Comments

“One of the secrets of getting more done is to make a TO DO List every day, keep it visible, and use it as a guide to action as you go through the day.” ~ Jean de La Fontaine

Every artist, professional, entrepreneur or anyone who is about getting things done, should start everyday with a To Do list. This document should be revisited after accomplishing each goal. Do not deviate between the task and the list. When you leave the list go out and get that thing done and comeback

A word of caution, when you launch in to action on any mission to accomplish a task, know that you will be confronted with distractions. Guaranteed! It’s in these moments that we lose control of our minds and make decisions that steal our time and lead to us looking back at our day, trying to figure out why we didn’t do the things we set out to do.

Everyday the world around us bombards us with all sorts of requests and things to respond to and look at. We are in a constant fight to hold on to our own attention. Without an anchor to keep us conscious of what we should focus on, we will always go off course. This is a proven fact. If you are constantly responding to external stimuli, you never get things done.

To Do lists discipline the emotions, focuses the mind and are a tool of productivty. If you know what’s good for you, you will use them, daily.
