High Level Job Description: The Director of Finance is responsible for accounting/financial reporting, debt financing, and preparing annual budgets. S/he will provide executive leadership to his/her team to ensure the success of the company’s business plans and objectives. The ideal candidate will reach financial performance targets and increase profitability for the company.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
-The VP of Finance works closely with the CEO in performing long-term financial planning and analysis aimed at identifying risks and opportunities with the company.
-The VP of Finance will provide leadership and executive oversight for financial and support operations, financial and budget planning, auditing, cash and investment management, accounts payable and procurement process
-Recommend and implement accounting system/software
-Provide overall operational and financial support to the SVP Operations and department heads.
-Compile Artist Arena’s quarterly and annual financial statements and prepare an analysis of all financial information.
-Coordinate with Warner corporate contacts on statements, budgets and forecasting
-Ensure all client settlements are composed, approved and paid out in a timely basis, or in accordance with set deadlines.
-Prepare financial analysis’ to show the financial impact of proposed price changes, discount programs and other incentives/disincentives on sales
-Coordinate financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
-Analyze, forecast and evaluate spending levels relative to projected annual revenues.
-Provide training, guidance and support to assist employees to reach their full potential.
-Highly proficient in Excel; Prior experience with financial and accounting reporting systems is a plus.
-Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
-Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task

-Accurate eye for detail with the ability to see the big picture.
-Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
-Knowledge of small-business/enterprise solutions
-B.A. in Finance, Accounting or Business with strong Accounting experience.
-Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting and or/CPA strongly preferred
-5-8 years’ experience in a mid to senior level finance or accounting position
