Position: Editorial Intern
Location: New York, NY

Interested in writing for an up-coming business web portal? Looking to get writing exposure in the entertainment industry? NYC-based Business Web Portal, IndustryPlug ( is seeking an energetic, detail oriented writer for IndustryPlug’s editorial internship position.  The ideal candidate will be in tune with the stories that interest our readers, will demonstrate headline-writing talent, and will have great writing and re-write skills.



-Assist in identifying and developing new content

-Update content to website using our content management system

-Coordinate with editorial staff to integrate content into e-letter

-Send out regular e-letter to users of the website, including latest additions and updates

-Work alongside editorial team to update content to our blogs and social networks



-Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Ability to clearly and effectively summarize a wide variety of content

-Skilled headline writer

-Be a self-starter, able to work independently on assigned projects and research independently

-Excellent Internet and Computer skills.

-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/Powerpoint)

-Familiarity with WordPress + online content management systems is a plus

-Familiarity with social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)

-Ability to meet tight deadlines
