Trey Songz Projected to Land at No. 1 With ‘Trigga’

Early projections have Trey Songz’s new album, Trigga entering the chart in the number one spot next week. His R&B counterpart, Robin Thicke’s new album Paula is not projected to do as well though.

This is Trey’s sixth studio album, and the crooner himself has said that he feels like this is his best album yet. After listening, IndustryPlug.com would have to agree since there is clear growth and a certain level of confidence that’s heard this time around.  On the other hand, Robin Thicke’s album is chronicling his healing process since his estranged wife Paula has left him. Unfortunately for Robin, his passion project is predicted to sell roughly 25,000-35,000 copies leaving his spot on next week’s chart unknown. Fortunately for Trey, Trigga is expected to take the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 next week which will be a milestone for the crooner.

Congrats to what is looking like a bright debut for Trey and congrats to Robin for putting out some of his most honest music yet!
