Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj Make a “Flawless” Remix

From surprise albums, to surprise tour trailers to random rumored remixes turned realities, Beyoncé has mastered the art of keep things close to the vest and stunning the world, and this time around, the diva took Nicki Minaj along for the ride.

Saturday night around midnight, the Queen of R&B/Pop and everything else dropped the remix to “Flawless” featuring the Queen of Rap, Nicki Minaj. Besides the lyrical prowess that both women showed, the song’s highlight was that it was an actual remix, not just a re-release of a track featuring Nicki.

With simple cover art full of Bey and Nicki’s selfies, the track that samples Outkast’s “SpottieOttieDopalicious” and reinforces how impressive the main producer, Hit-Boy is behind the scenes.  Besides the sheer mechanics of the song, Beyoncé mentions the net worth of her and her husband Jay Z ($1 billion in case you were wondering), she mentions that she feels like “the sh*t” and hopes that everyone can feel like that, and Nicki finishes the track like only she can with quotables that include, “I score before I ever throw the ball” and “Instagram another flawless pic” (the list is a long one).
