Nike revealed this week that the company is experiencing amazing sales growth and that it’s due to one source: women.

Last quarter in stores and on the wholesale market, Nike sales grew 15% due to a huge increase in the sale of women’s items helping the company top out at $8 billion in revenue.

CEO Mark Parker said the following:

“Revenue for women’s grew at a strong double digit pace, as we focused on realizing the significant potential in this large and growing business,” Parker said.

A huge reason for the increase was the World Cup and improving business in China, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens this quarter and in the near future.
